History in brief:
| 1996 | The company was initially created under my personal name Jan-Henrik Johansson |
| I did consultancy assignments for the European Commission, World Bank and other organisations | |
| in relation to Information Society and globalisation. | |
| 2004 | I was looking for a good work group collaboration tool to help me and my global partners. |
| I tried several packages but none fully served my needs. | |
| Finally I chose PmiWiki because of its flexibility and extensibility. | |
| The experience of working with wikis convinced me that digital communication skills | |
| have become a strategic competence for all of us in our globalized world. | |
| 2007 | To reflect this insight, I changed the name of my company to WikiVision |
| Digital communication and Social Software became the strategic focus. | |
| I decided to concentrate on wikis for both professional and purely personal use. | |
